Kaliyuga, Mahabharata & Vishnu Purana

I have already shown how a casual reference (opinion of Historians of Bhagavat Purana time) led to current confusion of Mahabharata and Kaliyuga.

Bhagavata Purana – Skandha 12, Adhyaya 20, Shlok 33

Bhagavat purana 12-20-33.JPG

(“The historians say that the day that S’rî Krishna left for the spiritual abode, the age of Kali commenced.”)

Many are aware that essentially same verse is repeated in Vishnu Purana.  I am listing it here for the benefit of those who want to have it as a ready reference.

Vishnu Purana : 4:24:113

Vishnu Purana 4-24-113

(“It is understood (considered as, reckoned, reasoned) the day that S’rî Krishna left for the spiritual abode, the age of Kali commenced.”)
