In this ‘parva‘ of ‘Maha Misadventure series’ we will look at the claim of Shrimati Saroj Bali ji for Krishna’s leaving from Upaplavya, for Hastinapur, on a peace mission.
Shrimati Saroj Bala ji’s claim is as follows:
(1) Krishna left from Upaplavya, on nakshatra Revati, on 25 September 3139 BCE.
(2) Hemant Rutu had already begun.
We will begin by resolving, now familiar, repetitive problem of calendar definition.
(1) Per Julian calendar, there is NO nakshatra REVATI, on 25 September 3139 BCE
Actual nakshatra is Purva Phalguni.
And the timing is that of ~21 days before the day of Autumnal equinox. Thus season is that of Sharad, and thus far away from that of Hemant season.
(2) Per Gregorian calendar, there is NO nakshatra REVATI, on 25 September 3139 BCE.
Actual nakshatra is Magha.
And the timing is that of peak of Sharad seson (4 days after autumnal equinox). Thus season is that of Sharad, and thus far way from that of Hemant season.
Conclusion: Get used to the Maha misadventure!
