Few brilliant Jewels – only (almost) works worth mentioning, post Rosetta Stone

‘Linguistics’ has been explored, exploited and misused by most of the Indologists. Most of them AIT Nazis and AIT Sepoys. They and their works have provided good illustrations of how to drive ‘agenda’ driven research.

Justifiably ‘Linguistics’ has attained a bad name. Unfortunately and for above reasons, much good that can come out of linguistics is also thrown away (baby with the bathwater!)

Much of the criticism of ‘Linguistics’, especially in the context of Indology is justified.

However, there are few brilliant gems. I plan to write about them in future, however, for now, I want to state them. Curious readers will explore them right away.

(1) ‘Indus Script Dictionary’ by Shrimati Sue Sullivan

(2) ‘Rigveda-A Historical Analaysis’ by Shri Shrikant Talageri

(3) ‘Rigveda and the Avesta – The Final Evidence’ also by Shri Shrikant Talageri

(4) ‘Alphabet or Abracadabra? – Reverse Engineering the Western Alphabet’ by Shri Wim Boorsboom

First one is a dictionary and last one is a booklet.  None of the four are light reading, but worth the effort for a tenacious and inquisitive reader.

Happy Reading!
